Jeremy regularly shares with organisations the story of his journey living with depression, attempting suicide and recovery. It is a powerful story and one
that has encouraged others to open up and share their own stories. The session is designed to raise awareness of mental health generally and more specifically depression and suicide.
Tailored mental health awareness training packages are available in
both face to face and virtual platforms. Raising awareness and
challenging stigma provides a safer and more supportive
environment for staff.
Using the HSE Stress audit toolkit, Jeremy can undertake audits in the workplace, collating data and feeding back findings. He can work with managers in responding to some of the issues raised.
Assistance can be provided in undertaking individual risk
assessments. Whilst not a diagnostic tool, understanding some of the factors can help managers put in supportive measures for the employee whilst unwell or during recovery.
TRiM is used on a 1:1 basis for those who may at risk of PTSD.
Originally developed by the military, it supports those effected in the immediate aftermath of a traumatic incident, signposting to other sources of help.
We are now licensed to deliver Suicide First Aid Training on behalf of NCSPT, a UK based suicide prevention CIC.
The one day course is the country’s only City and Guilds accredited course in this field and teaches learners how to have a conversation with someone, moving them from a place of crisis and danger to a place of safety..
